Privacy
A short privacy policy.
WattBench does not require an account, does not gate the tools, and does not sell personal information.
What we collect
We do not set first-party advertising cookies. The runtime calculator and outage planner run in your browser; the values you enter are not sent to a server.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and reliability. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, this page will be updated before it goes live.
Affiliate cookies
When you click a merchant link, the merchant or its affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute the referral. Those cookies are controlled by the merchant, not WattBench. Their duration varies by program; see the affiliate disclosure for the windows we verified.
If you email us, we receive your address and message. We use it to reply and keep a record of corrections. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Children
WattBench is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser, use a private window, or avoid clicking affiliate links. The site's editorial content and tools remain available without cookies.
