The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus is the better station if you can stretch the budget. It adds 300W of continuous output, 600W more solar input, a 56-minute recharge, and a battery-expansion port. The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 remains the lighter, simpler, lower-cost option.

Green marks the stronger figure in that row. A stronger spec is not automatically the better product for your loads.

The Explorer 1000 v2 and DELTA 3 Plus are both 1kWh-class LiFePO4 stations with five-year warranty coverage. The Jackery is lighter and usually cheaper; the EcoFlow is more capable in almost every other way.
The price gap is typically $100-200, which is small relative to the cost of solar panels or a second battery.
The Jackery delivers 1,500W continuous and 3,000W surge. The EcoFlow delivers 1,800W continuous and 3,600W surge. The gap is enough to matter for a microwave plus a fridge, or a small compressor.
Neither is a high-power station. If you need to run a space heater or a large power tool, look at the 2kWh class instead.
The DELTA 3 Plus recharges in 56 minutes at 1,500W; the Explorer 1000 v2 takes about 1.6 hours at 700W. The EcoFlow is roughly twice as fast.
Solar input is an even bigger gap: 1,000W for the EcoFlow versus 400W for the Jackery. A 400W array maxes out the Jackery; the EcoFlow can use a 600-800W array and refill faster.
The DELTA 3 Plus expands to about 2kWh with a DELTA 3 battery, and up to 5kWh with mixed batteries. The Explorer 1000 v2 has no expansion port.
Base capacity is close: 1,070Wh for the Jackery and 1,024Wh for the EcoFlow. The Jackery has a slight edge out of the box; the EcoFlow has the higher ceiling.
The Jackery weighs 23.8 lb; the EcoFlow weighs 27.6 lb. The 3.8 lb difference is noticeable on a long carry but not a dealbreaker for most people.
Jackery's controls are simpler and its display is easy to read. EcoFlow's app adds scheduling and firmware updates, but the station works without it.
Buy the DELTA 3 Plus if you want the more capable 1kWh station and can spend a little more. The faster charging, solar headroom, and expansion port are worth the premium for most buyers.
Buy the Explorer 1000 v2 if price and simplicity come first, or if you find it on a deep discount. It is still a competent station for lights, fans, a TV, and a CPAP.
Runtime math
Same formula for both: rated capacity x 0.85, divided by the load. Real appliances cycle, so treat these as planning estimates.
| Load | Average draw | Explorer 1000 v2 | DELTA 3 Plus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator (avg.) | 75 W | 12 hr | 12 hr |
| CPAP (no humidifier) | 40 W | 23 hr | 22 hr |
| Wi-Fi + laptop | 60 W | 15 hr | 15 hr |
| Microwave | 1,000 W | 55 min | 52 min |
| Space heater | 1,500 W | 36 min | 35 min |
Estimates use 85% of rated capacity and a constant average load. Real appliances cycle; a fridge's duty cycle and ambient temperature change the result. Run your own numbers.
